WebProject L.E.A.D. (Literacy for Every Adult in Dade) is an adult literacy program designed to assist English‑speaking adults with low literacy skills. The program provides free, one‑on‑one, confidential tutoring to help adults improve their reading and writing skills. WebPapers of Laubach Literacy International, founded in 1955 by Dr. Frank C. Laubach to address the world-wide problem of illiteracy. Established as Laubach Literacy Fund, the organization later became Laubach Literacy, Inc., and finally Laubach Literacy International; in 2002 it merged with Literacy Volunteers of America to form ProLiteracy.
